Motion Industries to Build Expanded DC Near Dallas

New facility to be 50,000 square feet larger than existing facility.

Motion Industries, Birmingham, AL, has broken ground on an expanded distribution center near Dallas, TX. The facility is scheduled to open next March.

The 156,000-square-foot facility will be almost 50,000 square feet larger than Motion's current Dallas distribution center and will house approximately 50,000 SKUs.

Motion Industries is a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co. (NYSE: GPC), Atlanta, GA.
