Graybar Appoints VP of Strategic Accounts

Tierney currently serves as a Senior National Sales Manager in Graybar’s Strategic Accounts organization.

Electrical, communications and data networking products distributor Graybar announced March 27 it has appointed Michael Tierney as Vice President of Strategic Accounts. Tierney will begin in his new role May 1, according to a news release.

Graybar ranked No. 3 on MDM’s Top Electrical, Data & Security Distributors list in 2022.

Tierney, who has over 34 years of experience in the electrical industry, joined Graybar in 2011. He currently serves as a Senior National Sales Manager in Graybar’s Strategic Accounts organization. Prior to his current role, Tierney led Graybar’s electric utility business across the eastern U.S.

“With his extensive experience and proven track record of results, Michael is highly respected within our company and throughout the industry,” Graybar Senior Vice President of Sales David Maxwell said in the release. “I am confident that he will provide strong leadership to sustain growth and deliver exceptional service to our strategic account customers.”
