Power equipment manufacturer Generac Holdings Inc. (NYSE: GNRC), Waukesha, WI, reported sales for the second quarter of $367.4 million, an increase of 27.4 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 41.2 percent to $20.9 million.
Residential sales in the quarter were up 36.2 percent year-over-year and commercial and industrial sales increased 16.5 percent.
Year-to-date sales were $653.9 million, up 9 percent over the prior-year period. Profit decreased 9.9 percent to $31.1 million.
