Power equipment manufacturer Generac Holdings Inc. (NYSE: GNRC), Waukesha, WI, reported sales for the first quarter of $331.8 million, an increase of 15.8 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit increased 25.8 percent to $12.8 million.
Residential sales in the first quarter were down 2.6 percent year-over-year, while commercial and industrial sales increased 47 percent.
