Power equipment manufacturer Generac Holdings Inc. (NYSE: GNRC), Waukesha, WI, reported sales for the third quarter of $352.3 million, a decrease of 3 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased to $36.5 million from $47.1 million in the second quarter of 2013.
Commercial & industrial segment sales in the third quarter decreased to $146.4 million. Residential product sales were $183.7 million.
Year-to-date sales were $1.1 billion, down 4.7 percent over the prior-year period. Profit decreased slightly to $125.2 million.
