Connexion, Chicago, IL, an electrical and lighting distributor serving the Chicago market since 2007, has agreed to purchase the Chicago location of Van Meter Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Our desire for a larger footprint in Chicago timed well with Van Meter’s shift in focus,” said David Rosenstein, Connexion’s president and CEO. “We’re adding a prime location and excellent team to our growing business.”
The site will serve as Connexion’s fourth stocking location. Both Connexion and Van Meter are members of Affiliated Distributors (AD), a buying and marketing group for independent businesses.
