Ohio-based industrial distributor Winsupply announced Oct. 3 its acquisition of Hydrologic Distribution Company, a plumbing supplier based just outside of Tampa, Florida. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Winsupply appeared several times in Modern Distribution Management’s 2022 Top Distributors list, ranking as the No. 3 Plumbing Distributor, No. 4 HVACR Distributor, No. 9 Industrial Distributor and No. 25 Electrical, Data & Security Distributor. Winsupply president John McKenzie recently joined the MDM podcast to discuss drones, mergers and acquisitions and more.

Hydrologic and its 12 locations across Florida will join the Winsupply family of companies, according to a news release. Winsupply’s subsidiaries include Noland Company, Carr Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating Supply, APCO and other regional suppliers the company has acquired, totaling over 100 locations.
