Salem, OR-based industrial fasteners, construction and building materials distributor R&S Industrial Supplies acquired SASCO.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Medford, OR-based SASCO is a distributor of industrial and construction supplies, fasteners and cutting tools. Founded in 1979, the company operated from a 12,000 square-foot warehouse in Medford.
R&S said this acquisition enables the company to merge resources and optimize operations for improved customer service.
“The acquisition of SASCO represents a significant step forward for R&S Industrial Supplies,” R&S Owner Rob Hilfiker said in a Jan. 3 news release. “This expansion not only broadens our regional presence but also allows us to better serve our customers by uniting two organizations with a shared dedication to excellence.”
R&S is a family-owned company that offers a range of industrial supplies, including hardware, abrasives, drill bits, electrical supplies and spray paint. The company also said that the acquisition broadens its reach, allowing R&S to establish operations in Salem, Eugene and Medford.
