Memphis, TN-based industrial automation, process and control solutions distributor Centro, Inc. acquired LECORP.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Paducah, KY-based LECORP is a distributor specializing in system designs, equipment supply and construction services for materials handling, process solutions and dust management. Established in 1958, the company initially concentrated on the coal and clay industries before expanding its reach to serve a broader range of sectors, including chemicals, plastics, food processing and more.
Memphis, TN-based Centro said the acquisition strengthens its market position in key regions, including: Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and Mississippi.
“This acquisition aligns with Centro’s long-term strategy to enhance our capabilities in key process industry applications,” Centro CEO Mike Gallagher said in a Jan. 2 news release. “LECORP’s innovative solutions and engineering-oriented approach to dry bulk material handling, processing, and dust control will be an invaluable addition to our customer solutions portfolio.”
Centro serves customers from nine branch locations in Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Arkansas and Louisiana. The serves various industries, such as automation, robotics, material handling and more.
