UK-based Wolseley plc, distributor of plumbing, heating and building materials, has agreed to acquire Puukeskus, a Finnish building materials distributor with 23 branches.
Puukeskus had revenues of £190 million (US$315 million) in 2013.
Once completed, about 400 employees will join Wolseley. Puukeskus will be integrated with Wolseley’s Starkki business in Finland, which currently has 22 branches.
