Construction and safety supplies distributor White Cap has a new supply chain leader.
The Atlanta-based company announced March 20 that it has welcomed Tracy Rosser to the new role of Chief Supply Chain Officer, where he will maximize investments in White Cap’s supply chain initiatives and leave its supply chain strategy.
Rosser most recently as Executive Vice President of Operations at Transplace/Uber Freight since 2019, where he led all transportation management activities for the business. Prior to that, he spent 22 years at Walmart, previously serving as Senior Vice President of Transportation and Supply Chain, and as Chief Operating Officer of Walmart Transportation LLC.
“Tracy is an experienced supply chain leader who has executed transformational supply chain initiatives at a business of our scale and complements the strengths and knowledge of our senior leadership team,” White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger said in a news release. “With more than 30 years of supply chain leadership experience from Walmart and Transplace/Uber Freight, Tracy will enable us to deliver efficient and reliable supply and delivery of products, while supporting our growth and innovation.”
Rosser has also been a Strategic Advisor at NewRoad Capital Partners since February 2023.
On MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors Lists, White Cap was No. 10 for industrial supplies distributors and No. 8 for construction/building materials distributors. White Cap has more than 450 branches across North America and over 9,500 employees.
