White Cap’s spring acquisition spree continues.
The distributor of specialty construction supplies and safety products acquired WWJ Rebar — a provider of customized reinforcing steel solutions based in Aiken, SC. The company serves industrial, commercial and residential projects across Georgia and South Carolina.
It represents the fourth deal for White Cap in 2024 — all since the start of April.
“We are excited to grow our rebar fabrication operations as a critical value-added service for our customers across the Southeast Region with the addition of WWJ Rebar,” White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger said in a May 22 news release. “By combining our talented teams, we further strengthen our shared offerings and capabilities.”
WWJ Rebar is now part of the White Cap portfolio of branches, branches and services. It adds to White Cap’s footprint of about 450 branches across North America, backed by 9,500 employees.
