Specialty construction and safety products distributor White Cap acquired Bend Construction Supply, boosting the company’s presence in the U.S. Northwest.
Founded in 2002 by David and Lisa Baker in Bend, Bend is a specialty distributor of products for concrete, mechanical and electrical contractors in Bend, OR. The company is a premier supplier of struts, fasteners, anchors and concrete accessories and products.
David Baker will join the White Cap team and Lisa Baker will serve as a consultant to assist with the transition.
“By joining forces with Bend’s experienced team, we have a great opportunity to expand our local presence in central Oregon and provide more products and services to our customers,” White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger said in an April 15 news release.
The Bend announcement came just a week after White Cap announced its acquisition of Crimson Steel Supply in Oklahoma.
White Cap provides concrete accessories and chemicals, tools and equipment, building materials and fasteners, erosion and waterproofing products and safety products to professional contractors. The company has over 450 branches across North America, backed by over 9,500 employees that serve about 200,000 customers.
