USG Names New CEO

Jennifer Scanlon to succeed James Metcalf.

USG Corp. (NYSE: USG), Chicago, IL, announced that James Metcalf will retire as chairman of the board, president and CEO, effective Oct. 31.

Jennifer Scanlon, executive vice president, president, International and president, L&W Supply Corp., will succeed Metcalf as president and CEO upon his retirement.

As part of the leadership transition, Steven Leer, lead director, will become non-executive chairman of the board, effective Nov. 1.
