US LBM Acquires Ridout

Acquisition expands company's presence in Arkansas and Missouri.

U.S. LBM Holdings LLC, Buffalo Grove, IL, has acquired Arkansas-based Ridout Companies. Terms were not disclosed.

Ridout includes the Ridout Lumber Companies of Arkansas and Missouri, Ridout Door Manufacturing Company and Arkansas Wholesale Lumber Company. The company operates 12 locations in Arkansas and a location in Joplin, MO.

Ross Ridout will remain with the company and assume the role of president.
