U.S. LUMBER Group, LLC, Atlanta, GA, a building materials distributor, will acquire Midwest Lumber, Stillwater, MN. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands U.S. LUMBER’s geographic presence and product mix. Midwest Lumber is a distributor of specialty building products in the Upper Midwest.

Midwest Lumber will operate under its existing brand name as a division of U.S. LUMBER and will be led by its current vice president of sales, Dave Charpentier. The companies expect to complete the transaction by early June.
