In 2023, McKinney, TX-based SRS Distribution opened 22 greenfield locations in its original building products division, reflecting its efforts to expand its footprint across the country.
The new locations, a record number for the division, will allow SRS to enhance service to existing customers while providing access to new markets. The locations included those in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Mexico, New York, South Carolina, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
“Despite headwinds from a rising interest rate environment and other macroeconomic factors, SRS had an outstanding year thanks to the remarkable efforts of our dedicated family of employees,” SRS President and CEO Dan Tinker said in a Jan. 2 news release. “Looking forward to 2024, we expect to continue our trajectory of success through organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and new greenfield locations in key markets across the country.”
The company said greenfield locations will continue to play an “integral role” in SRS’ path to building a national network of independent distributors.

- Menomonee Falls, WI
