SRS Distribution announced Oct. 21 that it has acquired Metro Roofing & Metal Supply Co., Inc., a distributor of commercial of commercial, residential and metal roofing products with two locations in Tennessee. Terms were not disclosed.

SRS is No. 6 on MDM’s 2022 Top Building Products/Construction Distributors list.

Based in Nashville, Metro was founded in 1980 by Pete Spain and is son-in-law Robert Link, and is run today by Robert’s children Kevin Link, Karen Dickerson and Kim Schwind. Metro has a second Tennessee location in Chattanooga and has a total headcount of 30. SRS notes that Kevin, Karen and Kim will continue to lead Metro’s team under the Metro banner.
