Irving, TX-based residential building products distributor PrimeSource acquired CityPost.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Spokane Valley, WA-based CityPost is a provider of cable railing systems for decks, patios and lofts. Founded in 2018, the company’s products are aimed at making residential renovations more affordable for customers.
“CityPost’s innovative cable railing system complements our existing RailFX and Ultra-Tec solutions and allows us to further advance our goal of becoming a leader in the outdoor living category,” PrimeSource Brands CEO Tom Koos said in a Dec. 17 news release.
This marks PrimeSource’s seventh acquisition since partnering with investment firm Clearlake Capital Group in December 2020.
The company’s most previous recent acquisitions were of Tampa, FL-based Harney Hardware, completed on Dec. 10 and Montreal, Canada-based Cobra Anchors, completed on Aug. 16.
