Construction and contract supplies distributor NEFCO acquired Corpus Christi, TX-based Sheinberg Tool Co.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1957 by Joseph and Ruth Sheinberg, Sheinberg Tool supplies construction, electrical, plumbing and HVAC customers with power tools, cutting tools, abrasives, hoists, jobsite boxes, safety and more. The company is currently led by Andrew Sheinberg.
“We are looking forward to combining two great family run businesses as we integrate Sheinberg Tool into our Texas Supply Chain and link it up with our Austin Fulfillment Center,” NEFCO President & CEO Matthew Gelles said in an Oct. 23 news release.
NEFCO said this acquisition expands its branch locations to 43 throughout the U.S., including four in Texas.
This is the company’s third acquisition of 2024, following Feasterville, PA-based Modern Fasteners in July and Phoenix, AZ-based Unicoa in April.
