Louisiana-Pacific Corp. (NYSE: LPX), Nashville, TN, reported sales for 2015 of $1.9 billion, a decrease of 2.2 percent from 2014. The company reported a loss of $88.1 million, down from a loss of $75.4 million the previous year.
Fourth quarter sales were $462.9 million, an increase of 2.1 percent from the same period the previous year. The company reported a loss of $7.6 million, up from a loss of $42.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2014.
Oriented strand board segment sales were up 2 percent in the fourth quarter and down 6 percent in 2015 compared to 2014. Siding segment sales were flat in the fourth quarter and up 3 percent in 2015. And Engineered wood products segment sales were up 14 percent in the fourth quarter, and up 2 percent for the year.
