Johnson Controls Inc. (NYSE: JCI), a Milwaukee, WI-based global multi-industrial company, reported sales for the fiscal first quarter ended Dec. 31 of $8.9 billion, a 7.2 percent decrease compared to the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 11.2 percent to $490 million.
Building Efficiency sales in the quarter were $3 billion, 18 percent higher than the same quarter last year. Automotive Experience sales fell 20 percent to $4.2 billion, and power solutions sales decreased 6 percent to $1.7 billion.
