Insulation and complementary building products supplier Installed Building Products, Inc. (IBP) acquired Wholesale Insulation Supply, Inc. (Insulation Supplies).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
New Hope, MN-based Insulation Supplies provides fiberglass, insulation, spray foam insulation, cellulose insulation and related insulation accessories and machinery to residential and commercial end-markets.
“The acquisition expands our geographic presence and enhances our ability to efficiently meet the needs of insulation customers throughout the upper Midwest,” IBP Chairman and CEO Jeff Edwards said in an Oct. 7 news release.
Columbus, OH-based IBP provides a range of products for residential and commercial builders in the U.S., including — waterproofing, fire-stopping, fireproofing, garage doors, rain gutters, window blinds, shower doors and closet shelving. The company operates in all continental U.S. states and the District of Columbia, with over 250 branch locations.
“Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth strategy, and we continue to have a robust pipeline of opportunities across multiple geographies, products, and end markets,” Edwards added.
Insulation Supplies generates over $22 million in annual revenue throughout Minnesota and the upper Midwest.
