Building materials distributor Huttig Building Products Inc. (NASDAQ: HBP), St. Louis, MO, reported sales of $222 million for the third quarter of 2018, a 11.2 percent increase over the prior-year period. The company reported a profit of $1.2 million for the quarter, down 16.7 percent from the third quarter of 2017.
For the first nine months sales 12.1 increased percent to $643.4 million. The company reported a profit of $0.9 million, down 66.7 percent from the same period in 2017.
