The Home Depot (NYSE: HD), Atlanta, GA, reported sales for the third quarter of $25 billion, an 8.1 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 10 percent to $2.2 billion.
For the first nine months, sales were $77 billion, up 6.4 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 10.3 percent to $6.9 billion.
