HD Supply Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: HDS), Atlanta, GA, reported sales for fiscal year 2014, ended Feb. 1, of $8.8 billion, a 7.9 percent increase from 2013. The company reported a profit of $3 million for the year, up from a net loss of $218 million in 2013. HD Supply completed its sale of Hardware Solutions to The Home Depot.
The company's fourth-quarter sales were $2 billion, a 7.2 percent increase from the same period the previous year. The company reported a loss of $93 million for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $66 million in the fourth quarter of 2014.
Full-year sales for the Facilities Maintenance unit were $2.5 billion, an 8 percent increase. Fourth-quarter sales increased 7 percent to $560 million.
Full-year sales for the Waterworks unit were $2.4 billion, a 9 percent increase. Fourth-quarter sales increased 10 percent to $516 million.
Full-year sales for the Power Solutions unit were $1.9 billion, an increase of 4 percent. Fourth-quarter sales increased 2 percent to $462 million.
Full-year sales for the White Cap unit were $1.5 billion, an increase of 15 percent. Fourth-quarter sales increased 14 percent to $337 million.
