HD Supply Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: HDS), Atlanta, GA, reported sales for 2016 of $7.4 billion, an increase of 4.4 percent year-over-year. Profit was $196 million, compared to $1.5 billion the prior year.
Fourth-quarter sales were $1.6 billion, up 3.2 percent from the previous year quarter. Profit was $52 million, down from $871 million in the prior year quarter.
Fourth-quarter sales for facilities maintenance were up 2.3 percent year-over-year to $620 million, Waterworks sales were up 3.4 percent to $551 million and Construction & Industrial sales were up 4.3 percent to $466 million.
