HD Supply Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: HDS), Atlanta, GA, reported sales for the fiscal second quarter ended July 31 of $2 billion, an increase of 4.1 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 10.1 percent to $98 million.

Second-quarter sales for facilities maintenance were up 1.1 percent year-over-year to $741 million, Waterworks sales were up 4.4 percent to $733 million and White Cap sales increased 7.5 percent to $489 million.

Sales for the first six months increased 5.6 percent year-over-year to $3.8 billion. Profit decreased 76.1 percent to $84 million.
