Continental Materials Corp. (NYSE MKT:CUO), Chicago, IL, reported sales for the second quarter of $39.9 million, down 6.6 percent compared to the same quarter a year ago. Profit decreased 42.9 percent to $1 million.
Year to date, the company reported sales of $74 million, down 3.8 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Profit decreased 73.8 percent to $0.6 million.
