Continental Building Products Inc. (NYSE: CBPX), Herndon, VA, a manufacturer of gypsum wallboard and finishing products, reported sales for 2016 of $461.4 million, an increase of 9.4 percent from the previous year. Profit was $44 million, up from $16.7 million in 2015.
Fourth-quarter sales were $118.2 million, an increase of 7.1 percent from the same period the previous year. Profit increased 18.7 percent to $12.6 million.
