Continental Building Products Inc. (NYSE: CBPX), Herndon, VA, manufacturer of gypsum wallboard and finishing products, reported second quarter sales of $111 million, an increase of 7.9 percent year-over-year. The company reported a loss of $126,000, compared to prior year profit of $4.7 million.
Year-to-date sales were $203.2 million, a 7 percent increase compared to the prior year period. Profit was $1.9 million, compared to a loss of $4 million the previous year.
