Continental Building Products Inc. (NYSE: CBPX), Herndon, VA, manufacturer of gypsum wallboard and finishing products, reported third quarter sales of $116.5 million, an increase of 1.7 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 76.9 percent to $11 million.
Year-to-date sales were $357.8 million, a 4.3 percent increase compared to the prior year period. Profit increased 13.3 percent to $35.6 million.
