Building materials company Builders FirstSource Inc. (Nasdaq: BLDR), Dallas, TX, a supplier and manufacturer of structural and related building products for residential new construction in the U.S., has opened a new distribution center in the Houston area and relocated another near San Antonio.
The company's new facility is in Conroe, TX, about 40 miles north of downtown Houston, on an 11.5-acre site that includes 60,000 square feet of warehouse, showroom and office space. And the relocated San Antonio-area facility is in Schertz, TX, on a 15-acre site that has approximately 90,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, and multiple outside storage sheds.
