Irving, TX-based Builders FirstSource — No. 2 on MDM’s 2024 Top Building Materials/Construction Distributors List — grew its western U.S. footprint with a pair of new acquisitions in Arizona and California.
Western Truss & Components
In Flagstaff, AZ, BFS added Western Truss & Components — a roof and floor truss supplier catering to custom home builders in Flagstaff and northern Arizona. BFS said the new location and local leadership team boost its position in those markets and add capacity for growing the company’s Sedona, Prescott Valley and Show Low markets.
CRi SoCal
Orange County, CA, BFS added CRi SoCal — a single-location dealer and installer of high-end windows and doors. The company said the addition complements its Dixieline/Builders FirsSource operations, which includes a recently-opened lumber yard and window and door showroom in Dana Point, CA. It also provides BFS with more installation capability and opportunities to serve customers throughout southern California.
BFS said both deals were completed on July 2.
Earlier in 2024, BFS acquired Hanson Truss Components in Olivehurst, CA and Quality Door & MIllwork in Idaho Falls, ID.
