Boise Cascade Agrees to Buy Georgia-Pacific’s Engineered Lumber Business

Georgia-Pacific's engineered lumber business to sell for $215 million.

Boise Cascade Co. (NYSE: BCC), Boise, ID, has agreed to buy the engineered lumber business of Georgia-Pacific, Atlanta, GA, for $215 million.

The sale will include the engineered lumber operations located at Thorsby, AL, (230 employees) and Roxboro, NC, (40 employees), along with a commercial sales and technical team.
