Beacon Roofing Supply Sales Up 2.6% in 1Q

Profit nearly triples to $20.4 million in quarter.

Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), Peabody, MA, reported sales for the fiscal first quarter ended Dec. 31 of $1 billion, a 2.6 percent increase from the previous year. Profit nearly tripled to $20.4 million from $7.1 million.
