Beacon Roofing Supply Sales Up 12% in 1Q

Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), Peabody, MA, reported sales for the fiscal first quarter ended Dec. 31 of $1.1 billion, a 12 percent increase from the previous year. Profit more than tripled to $67.6 million from $20.4 million.
