Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), Herndon, VA, has acquired Roofing & Insulation Supply, Dallas, TX. Terms were not disclosed.
RIS, with annual sales of $70 million, has 20 branches across New England, the Mid-Atlantic, the Southeast, the Upper Midwest, Texas and Colorado.
"RIS will significantly bolster our existing insulation business, which has been a very strong complementary product offering for Beacon for many years, as well as our roofing business in key markets," said Paul Isabella, Beacon's president & CEO. The acquisition will also expand Beacon's presence in the Western U.S.
