Beacon Roofing Supply Acquires BJ Supply

Acquisition expands company's presence in Northeast Philadelphia.

Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), Herndon, VA, has acquired roofing distributor BJ Supply, Bristol, PA. Terms were not disclosed.

BJ Supply serves the Northeast Philadelphia market. The company's founder Joseph Pfluger will remain with the company.

"Combining BJ Supply with our existing Philadelphia area branches gives us a more powerful footprint in Northeast Philadelphia with even greater access to New Jersey customers," said Paul Isabella, Beacon's president & CEO.
