Beacon Roofing Supply Acquires 2 Companies

Acquisitions expand company's presence in key Eastern U.S. markets.

Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), Herndon, VA, has acquired building products distributors Atlantic Building Products, Warminster, PA, and Lyf-Tym Building Products, Charlotte, NC. Terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Atlantic Building Products, a distributor of decking, windows, siding and related building products, boosts Beacon's presence in the Philadelphia, PA, suburban market. And the acquisition of Lyf-Tym Building Products, a distributor of siding, windows, gutters, vinyl railings and related products, boosts the company’s presence in North Carolina and Virginia.
