Within the first three months of 2024, roofing and other building materials distributor Beacon completed two acquisitions, and now it has opened three new branches.
On March 22, Beacon — No. 6 on MDM’s 2023 List of Top Building Materials/Construction Distributors — announced it opened locations in Fort Myers and Milton, FL, and Saginaw, MI, to serve residential and commercial roofing contractors:
- Fort Myers, FL: “We are pleased to now have three branches serving the Cape Coral-Fort Myers metro area, including a location specializing in waterproofing products. This is a fast-growing market that also requires resilient weather solutions due to its coastal location,” said Jack Gill, Beacon’s Regional Vice President in Florida.
- Milton, FL: This branch adds both residential and commercial roofing products and services in the Pensacola metro area. “The beautiful Gulf Coast and naval base make this an attractive area and we see the growth in requirements for building materials,” said Beacon Regional Vice President of the Southeast Lynn France.
- Saginaw, MI: This branch marks the 12th in Michigan.
In 2023, Beacon opened 49 branches.
