Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco (STO: ATCOA, ATCOB), Nacka, Sweden, reported sales for 2017 of SEK 123.4 billion (US$15.7 billion), up 20 percent over sales in 2016. Profit also increased 40 percent to SEK 16.7 billion (US$2.1 billion).
For the fourth quarter, sales were SEK 30.4 billion (US$3.9 billion), a year-over-year increase of 10 percent. Profit more than doubled to SEK 4.2 billion (US$0.5 million), compared to SEK 2.5 billion (US$0.3 million) a year ago.
