Retailer-owned hardware cooperative Ace Hardware Corp., Oak Brook, IL, reported sales for the third quarter of $1.3 billion, up 9 percent from the same quarter a year ago. Profit increased 7.2 percent to $53.8 million.
For the first nine months, the company reported sales of $3.9 billion, up 4.6 percent from 2016. Profit decreased 4.7 percent to $133.2 million.
