Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. (NYSE: WAIR), Valencia, CA, reported sales for the 2014 fiscal year of $1.4 billion, an increase of 50.4 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 2.3 percent to $102.1 million.
For the fourth quarter, sales were $408.2 million, an increase of 74.2 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 17.8 percent to $24.6 million. Fourth-quarter sales increased 72 year-over-year in the North America segment. Rest of world sales were up 83 percent.
In other news, Wesco Aircraft announced the retirement of CFO Gregory A. Hann effective March 31, 2015. Hann will serve as CFO until a replacement is found.
