Wesco Aircraft Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: WAIR), Valencia, CA, reported sales for the first quarter, ended Dec. 31, 2013, of $224.7 million, a 6.4 percent increase from the previous year. Profit increased 32.6 percent to $24.4 million.
North American sales for the quarter were up 4.7 percent year-over-year, with revenues in the rest of the world up 19.6 percent.
“We are experiencing high levels of activity in orders, additions to our current contracts and contract renewals with existing customers," said Randy Snyder, CEO of Wesco Aircraft. "In addition, our recently announced acquisition of Haas adds to our optimism for the rest of the year and beyond.”
