Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), Stamford, CT, reported 2017 sales of $2.8 billion, up 1.4 percent from 2016. Profit was $401.9 million, compared to $200.1 million the previous year.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $714.2 million, an increase of 4.8 percent from the same period a year ago. Profit was $90.9 million, compared to a loss of $91.6 million the previous year's quarter.
