Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), Stamford, CT, reported 2015 sales of $2.7 billion, down 6 percent from 2014. Profit increased 17.9 percent to $372.9 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $681 million, a decrease of 7 percent from the same period a year ago, with core sales down 3 percent. Profit increased 15.5 percent to $103.5 million.
