B/E Aerospace Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAV), Wellington, FL, reported first quarter sales of $716.7 million, an increase of 4 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit increased 6 percent to $82.6 million.
First-quarter commercial aircraft segment sales increased 5.9 percent year-over-year to $557 million, while business jet sales decreased 2.6 percent to $159.7 million.
