A new reverse logistics platform has launched, specifically geared for distributors and manufacturers in the form of Chicago-based Cointinuum.
On Feb. 23, the company announced its market launchpad a platform designed for distribution and manufacturing organizations to revolutionize their returns, repairs and warranties management. The firm noted that the costs for this management average over 66% of the original sale price in B2C returns and are even higher in B2B, with challenges in the latter intensified by the increase in eCommerce adoption and the use of other commerce portals.
Continuum explains that its platform connects distributors and manufacturers to simplify returns management for all parties involved, including the shared end user. In optimizing the post-sales experience, Continuum said it streamlines operations and improves customer satisfaction — saving distributors and manufacturers from outdated, time-consuming and costly returns processes.
We’re committed to strengthening supply chain relationships, ultimately focusing on the end-user experience and fending off threats from the biggest eCommerce competition,” Continuum CEO and Founder Alex Witcpalek said in a launch news release. “Continuum delivers the tools and technologies supply chain partners need to streamline operations, enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.”
