Product content solutions provider Distributor Data Solutions (DDS) introduced what is calls the industry’s first product access cloud to give distributors and manufacturers access to product information for B2B eCommerce.
DDS’ Acadia allows users to view and edit rich product content in real time without a PIM, align product content with the specific needs of each channel partner, authorize access to a product portfolio and product content and gain awareness of the quality and quantity of their eCommerce product data.
“The introduction of Acadia is the result of years invested in solving product content challenges with our customers and is a new path forward for DDS as we are now making the tools we have been building for our largest customers available to all members of the DDS network through a single, common platform” DDS President Matt Christensen said in an April 29 news release.
Acadia also provides access to the generative AI capabilities of Acadia AI.
DDS officials say Acadia was built to make it easier for both manufacturers to share product data with distributors through a single source, and for distributors to enhance the product information on their eCommerce site and other critical business systems.
